Auto Insurance Minimum Coverage California

what’s the minimum auto insurance coverage I should have in california?

I’m not talking about the minimum required by law, but what’s a good idea to have? Is 100/300/50 BIPD overkill? Are we just throwing our money away?

Those are great insurance limits to have, If you were to hit some body, that coverage gives 50,000 towards their car (which wouldn’t cover a totaled escalade), and 100,000 dollars to each person for medical bills, which you hope will never have to use all of it, but is nice to know you have. Besides if you were to drop to state minimum required it would only save maybe $50 a year thats less than $5 a month. Definitly worth the price.
